Our thermometer is slowly inching up around here.

We thought it was time to celebrate by turning our backs on crock-pot food and oven food, and eat the kind of dinner we make when we don’t want to turn on the oven.

These Sloppy Joe BLTs were surprisingly filling. The cheese/bacon/salad dressing combo is also great on flour tortillas. If you can’t eat up the filling in one night, we suggest leaving out the romaine and adding it when you assemble tomorrow’s sandwich.

And, in the ingredients picture, that’s red wine vinegar you see, just in case you’re concerned about what we keep in our fridge.

So, it’s not warm enough to sit on the porch — YET. But when it is, we’d like to eat these again.
